How to Join
Kinnoull Bowling Club is always happy to welcome new members to the club, both experienced bowlers and those who are new to the sport. We also offer a social membership which enables use of the club facilities and the bar for those who do not wish to participate in the sport.
In order to join, all you need to do is complete and submit a simple application form, which you can do by either:
There are four types of membership available. In order that you select the right membership for you, please read our section on membership types and fees.

Once your application for membership has been agreed by the committee you will be asked to pay the appropriate fee. On payment you will receive a receipt and will then officially be a member of Kinnoull Bowling Club.
All new bowling members will be issued with a clubhouse door key and a locker key. Any new bowling members who do not have an email address will receive a welcome pack from our secretary, which will include a copy of the constitution and bye-laws of the club. All new members, including Social members, with an email address, will also be issued with a “log in” for our website. This will allow access to the password protected parts of the website, which are for members information only.
Membership Types and Fees
We offer four types of membership which are open to both gents and ladies.
1. Full Bowling Membership (21 years old or over on the 1 May)
Only Full Bowling Members have voting rights and are entitled to attend all Annual or Special General Meetings. They are entitled as eligible to enter all club competitions and represent the club in all external competitions. They are also eligible to participate in all friendly matches with other clubs and take part in our own Tuesday afternoon and Friday night club games. As a Full member you are entitled to play on the green during the playing season at any time between 10.00 hrs and sunset provided rink space is available. Full members are subject to all conditions as detailed in the Constitution and By-Laws of the club.
Fees
The club operates a tiered fee system for full bowling members which we hope will encourage new members, give them time to settle into the club and retain them in the future.
Full Member: £125 (Life Members £100)
New Year 1 Full Member: £50
Second Year Full Member £100
2. Associate Bowling Membership
Associate Bowling Members have no voting rights and are not entitled to attend Annual or Special General Meetings. Bowling rights are also limited. Playing time from the start of the season to the 1st of June is between 10.00 hrs and 17.30 hrs. From 1st June to the end of the season playing time is extended in line with a Full Bowling Member. At all times Full Bowling Members will have rink preference.
Associate Bowling Members are permitted to join with Full Bowling Members for both Tuesday afternoon and Friday night club games. They are not entitled to enter club competitions or represent the club in external competitions or friendly matches unless invited to do so by the Management Committee.
Associate Bowling Members are subject to all conditions as detailed in the Constitution and Bye-Laws of the club.

Associate Bowling Member: £40
3. Junior Bowling Member (Aged under 21 on 1st May)
Junior Bowling Members have the same rights as a Full Bowling Member with the exception of voting rights and entitlement to attend Annual or Special General Meetings. This entitlement will only be applicable to a Junior Bowling Member on attaining the age of 18 years.
Fee
Junior Bowling Member: £25
On attaining the age of 21 years by 1st May a Junior Bowling Member who wishes to continue to play bowls at Kinnoull will have the choice of either:
1. Full Bowling Membership via the tiered system.

2. An Associate Bowling Membership.
4. Social Member
Social Members have no bowling or voting rights and are not entitled to attend Annual or Special General Meetings. Social Members are subject to all conditions as detailed in the Constitution and Bye-Laws of the club.
